ONDIVID INJECTION is used to provide relief from sensation of nausea and vomiting. It contains a medicine called Ondansetron which is an anti-emetic medicine. It reduces the nausea and vomiting sensation by blocking the vomiting centres of the brain.
Before receiving ONDIVID INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have severe constipation, heart or liver problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in the blood, such as potassium, sodium and magnesium or if you have been scheduled for any surgery.
ONDIVID INJECTION is not recommended for use during pregnancy. This medicine may pass through the breast milk hence it is not recommended during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before receiving this medicine.
The most common side effects of receiving ONDIVID INJECTION includes headache, flushing and constipation. Consult your doctor if any of these above symptoms gets worse.
